How to play IdleGarden

1. Water the garden

Tap the garden plot to water it and grow seeds by hand. Early on, watering is your main income — every tap grows seeds you can spend on your first flower beds.

2. Plant flower beds to automate

Spend seeds to plant flower beds. Each one grows seeds every second on its own, so production continues whether or not you're tapping. Owning more of the same bed reaches milestones that double that bed's output (at 25, 50, 100, 200 and 500 owned).

3. Unlock the next flower

When you can afford it, unlock the next flower rarity. Each rarity multiplies the value of all your seeds, often unlocks a stronger bed, and lights up a new entry in your flower codex — wildflower gives way to rose, tulip, orchid and finally moonbloom as you collect the full set.

4. Replant for Bloom Essence

Eventually a season slows down. Replant to turn your seeds, flower beds and flower rarities back over in exchange for Bloom Essence based on how much you grew this season. Each essence permanently boosts your global growth, so every new season starts stronger than the last — and your flower codex is never cleared.

5. Fill the flower codex

Every flower rarity you unlock is added to your flower codex — a collectible page that fills in as you grow rarer blooms. The codex is kept forever and survives replanting, so collecting all five flowers is a long-term goal that runs alongside the numbers.

Offline earnings & ads

Your flower beds keep blooming while the tab is in the background or closed. When you come back, you'll see how much they grew — capped at a maximum offline window so the game stays balanced. Optional rewarded ads let you double offline earnings, trigger a temporary full-bloom burst, skip ahead, or boost a replant — every ad reward also has an equal no-ad alternative.

FAQ

What is replant? A voluntary reset that trades this season's progress for permanent Bloom Essence. It makes future seasons faster, and never clears your flower codex.

How long do offline earnings last? They accumulate up to a capped offline window (extendable via replant upgrades).

Are the seeds real money? No. IdleGarden seeds are an in-game score for fun only — no real-world value, no cash-out, no gambling.

Where is my progress stored? Locally in your browser. No account, no upload.

Will I lose my save? Not under normal use — the game autosaves and keeps a backup slot. Clearing your browser data will reset it.
